Shot for freedom

by Tien Comerford

He came before us,
Faced us like a man,
A hint of fear in his smile,
Facing death head on
in such a vulnerable state,
Sitting as straight as he can
with the wounds,
He`s unable to hold himself up,
So there is a use of restraints and rope
But never a struggle from the rebel.
