A Rebel’s Wedding
by Mary Sharkey
A lone swan left the lake
Much like Kitty Kiernan
Left alone planning her big day
The buying of her wedding dress run short.
Her wedding day is no more
Michael Collins shot dead
No need for a wedding with no dress.
No man nor woman to be wed
As on this day the groom was shot.
