Two Poetry as Commemoration workshops led by writer Mark Granier and archivist Gráinne Doran will take place on Mondays 20 & 27 March from 3pm – 5pm.

Participants will respond to local and national archival material from the War of Independence & the Civil War and afterwards they will be invited to submit their work to a special Poetry as Commemoration archive which will be housed in UCD Special Collections. Participants who have family stories or materials relating to the revolutionary period are invited to share these, but no family connection is necessary and all are welcome.
