Two Poetry as Commemoration workshops led by writer Terry McDonagh will be held in the National Museum of Ireland — Country Life in Castlebar on the 8th & 9th of November, 2022. Participants will respond to archival material from the War of Independence & the Civil War and afterwards they will be invited to submit their work to a special Poetry as Commemoration archive which will be housed in UCD Special Collections. Participants who have family stories or materials relating to the revolutionary period are invited to share these, but no family connection is necessary and all are welcome

Participants should attend both workshops.
