Two workshops — 9th & 16th November — with writer Maria McManus.

As part of the Poetry as Commemoration initiative, two creative writing workshops led by poet Maria McManus will be held in Linen Hall Library on Wednesdays, 9th & 16th of November. Participants will respond to archival material from the War of Independence & the Civil War and afterwards they will be invited to submit their work to a special Poetry as Commemoration archive which will be housed in UCD Special Collections.

Participants who have family stories or materials relating to the revolutionary period are invited to share these, but no family connection is necessary and all are welcome. Participants should attend both workshops.
