Two workshops — 5th & 12th November — with writer Gerry Hanberry.

Two Poetry as Commemoration workshops led by poet Gerry Hanberry will be held in Galway City Museum on Saturdays, 5th & 12th of November. Participants will respond to archival material from the War of Independence & the Civil War and afterwards they will be invited to submit their work to a special Poetry as Commemoration archive which will be housed in UCD Special Collections. Participants who have family stories or materials relating to the revolutionary period are invited to share these, but no family connection is necessary and all are welcome

Participants should attend both workshops.
