The Silent Partner

by Brian Donohue

I follow the action
here, there, everywhere
welded to the hand
of my creator.

Unknowing each tick
I soar
Provokes an eclipse,
the dawn of a
new country.

All the while
oblivious to the fact that
all I am
is a green crested
notepad.
