Our Life For Freedom

by Loro B. Taylor

Our life for freedom, no heed the cost.
For all that’s won, there’s much that’s lost.
But still the fire in heart burns bright,
No man on earth can dim that light.
Nor take our land in evil gain,
We’ll fight them all in Erin’s name.
Proud wounds we’ll bear, and blood we’ll spill,
But for all that, we’ll fight them still.
For martyred cause we’ll give our hand,
For Ireland, for our Blessed green land.
