My Joy One Hundred Years Later

by Joseph Daire

My joy tastes like a hot cup of tea. Steaming mug

My joy looks like a bright blue sky, watching from above.

My joy smells like a fresh coat of paint, waiting to dry.

My joy sounds like a dog, playing with its toys.

My joy is felt mostly at home, with people I love

One hundred years from the war
