Havoc in Ireland

by Nathan Ekweariri

Sirens ringing,

Guns firing,

People screaming,

Irish Civil War starting up,

Croke Park filled with blood,

Explosions going off,

Irish Republican Army crushing homes.

Michael Collins splitting Ireland,

Once was a fine country,

Now is a corrupt country,

Black and Tans causing chaos

A Sunday turns into a Bloody Sunday.

Kids fighting for safety,

It’s sad for Ireland 1900-1980,

Four Courts on fire,

I.R.A. destroying the spire,

When will Ireland settle?
